Frank gets into deep Shinto

First night on tatami a bit rough and then to traditional Japanese breakfast-Interesting! Load ourselves up and hit the trail. Ben our erudite tour leader assures us there is only a 30% chance of light showers after 3pm; at 1230 the heavens open up and we are drenched! Then Frank slips off steps and ends up cut, bruised abraded and generally very sore. Lunch at local restaurant then Frank opts to go to inn while Robyn inspects Hachiman Temple complex.
