Another grueling day

By now we are somewhat over Japanese breakfasts! Grilled fish, rice, pickled vegetables, miso soup, tofu and various unidentifiable stuffs. We would kill for weet-bix or toast and vegemite. The Japanese are disgusted by vegemite but find natto, a slimy, stringy mess of fermented soy beans very delicious-go figure!
We catch the shinkansen to Kagoshima and then by taxi to the base of Satsuma Fuji and then a long uphill hike to the summit-lunch, and then a tricky descent. We are then taken to the Kamikaze Museum(controversial) and then to our inn for the night for a fabulous pre-prandial onsen(Mineral bath) followed by another extravagant dinner.
